Learning Outcome

In this course you will;

  • Sing Fun Songs

    By the end of this course you will have learnt 4 new songs and received detailed instruction on technical aspects of these songs.

  • Learn Singing Games

    You will learn singing games, warm ups and technical exercises to maintain vocal health and technique.

  • Learn Proper Technique

    In the first 8 weeks you will gain a better understanding of some basic singing techniques such as breathing, posture, diction and warm ups

Loretta Wilkinson

Loretta trained in voice at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Australia, and at the Otakar Kraus Music Trust in London.  Loretta has worked in professional musical theatre productions in New Zealand, Australia and England and in operas and large scale concerts in New Zealand and abroad. Whilst in England, Loretta taught voice at prestigious performing arts schools Elmhurst Academy for Ballet and the Performing Arts, and the Arts Educational School, readying many students for careers in the industry. Returning to New Zealand she co-founded Lyrica with brother Reece, and for over 17 years guided Lyrica to become an internationally sought after vocal group. Alongside performance, Loretta’s teaching saw her contract to top private schools in both Auckland and Hamilton. Loretta is also currently Director of the Stagecraft programme at Riverlea Theatre in Hamilton, New Zealand.
